　 　 Vehicle rent in China 　 Foreigner can rent vehicle for travel overland in China, but if you want make self-drive, have to do a test by the Chinese traffic  police to get your Chinese drive's license. 

So, will be easy if you just rent the car with a Chinese local  driver. And usually the driver do not speaking English, if you need English serve, have to ask for an English speaking guide serve. 

An English speaking guide around 400~800 yuan per day.
