China Bird Watching Tour

There are more than 4,400 species of vertebrates, more than 10 percent of the world's total, is one of the countries with the greatest diversity of wildlife in the world, have 1,189 species of birds.

Hainan Island Hainan is a large tropical island off the southernmost tip of China. If you are looking to relax by golden beaches, sunshine, blue skies and clean air, then Hainan island awaits your arrival.  For the more intrepid travellers, we would like to offer the opportunity of exploring  exotic minority cultures and rainforest regions, the hidden gems of this beautiful island. 

Sanya Located on the southernmost tip of Hainan Island, Sanya is the island's most famous tropical resort, a wonderful place in the baking summer months and also a popular spot in winter too. Once home to China's most reviled exiles, Sanya has been transformed from a spot that no one wanted to visit at the "utmost ends of the earth" to one of China's most popular resort areas.
Sanya town is situated on a small peninsula, connected to the mainland by two bridges. It is a great place to soak up some atmosphere and the night market here is especially lively with seafood thrown on the streets, stores selling all types of weird and wonderful wares including smuggled goods from Vietnam and huge tea warehouses, all adding to the chaotic feeling about this place.
It is the beaches that are the biggest attraction here. Sanya has some of the most beautiful and well maintained stretches of sand not just in China but in southern Asia. The sand here is white and soft, shady with the palm trees. The sea is wonderfully blue and warm. This is just about the only place week or so here, soaking up the sun, relaxing and just enjoying the unique ambience that dominates this place.

The vast majority of things to see and do revolve around beach, sea, Segway sliding, and so on.
The main beaches are Dadonghai Bay, Yalong Bay, and Sanya Bay.
Both of Dadonghai Bay and Yalong Bay offer wide activites ranging like snorkeling, diving, Segway sliding, jet skiing, submarine sightseeing.

Sanya also has most of the seafood, and cantonese food restaurants through Dadonghai bay, and down town Sanya. Hotel restaurant is limited at Yalong Bay.

Ethnic Minority Groups in Hainan  Hainan is a multinational region, and there the ethnic villages of Li and Miao are very typical. The hospitable villagers will treat you to traditional food as well as wonderful singing and dancing performances. So the Li and Miao Villages are well worth a visit in Hainan. Nowadays, Hainan cuisine is very popular all over the world, especially the fresh and delicious seafood. Furthermore, Hainan is famous for its beautiful handicrafts, like shell carvings. If you want to visit some Ethnic minority villages, there are may of them in nearby Wuzhishan town at the center of Hainan, and Dongfang town in the west coast.
The capital of Hainan is Haikou City. Located in northern part of the island, it is the political, economic, cultural and transportation center of the whole province. In Hainan, the cities Haikou and Sanya are where most tourists congregate.

Wuzhishan is located at the center of Hainan Island, with the title of the highest mountain in Hainan, and there is a good path for hiking to the top of Wuzhishan with very nice view, also you will see many Li and Miao minority people and villages around the area. 

Jianfengling forest park of  the west side of The Island is a nice place to go for trekking and camp.

When to go  Hainan is an ideal place to escape the harsh, cold winters of northern china. In January and February, the average temperature is 16C to 24C, and 25C to 29C is in July and August. The rainy seasons are from May to October. The best time to visit Hainan is between November and March the next year. I suggest those who are fond of swimming had better come to Hainan. It's an excellent swimming and bathing place all the year around, and far away from the crowded cities, it is also a great destination for relaxation and entertainment.

Dadonghai are two well known beaches. Just imagine that you are lying on the soft beach under beautiful sunshine or that you are walking through the coconut plantation under the blue sky. 

There is also a Aboriginal beach Qiziwan bay nearby Changhua Anient town of Dongfang, good for trekking and camping.  There are many Ancient town as: Yazhou is nearby Sanya, Changhu is near Dongfang city, Zhanzhou is the north-west coast. How wonderful everything is! Historical heritages such as Hairui Tomb (Hairui (1514 - 1587) who was a compassionate and popular officer during the Ming Dynasty) and Wugong Temple (Fiver Officials' Temple) in Haikou are also worth a visit.

Boao  is a water town, located at the east of Qionghai, emerges at the meeting points of three famous river as Wanquan, Jiuqu, and Longgun, characterized by rivers, lakes, sea, beach, mountains, hot spring.  It is also famous because of the Asia Forum every year. Before that, Boao is a small quiet village, which the people there is living depends on fishing hunting. 1.5 hours driving from Haikou Meilan Airport, and 2 hours driving from Sanya.

Scuba Diving in Sanya. There are a number of operations conducting diving trips for visitors, and there are also package tours specifically for scuba divers. If you are traveling independently, and you just want the occasional dive, make sure you bring your scuba certification. Most of the main qualifications are recognized, including those of PADI, NAUI, CMAS. Keen divers might also bring their own mask and regulator, though all the equipment is available for rent.

For this beginners experience we will take you to the  Beach in the Yalong Bay area. You will be transported to the diving location on a boat wearing diving clothes with oxygen bottles. You will normally dive to a depth of about 7 meters from the surface, for this beginners tour you will not be able to exceed 10 meters. The total period is about 1 ½ hours inclusive from the time on the boat from the beach to diving area. Basic tuition will be given and you will be with a water guide at all times.

west pai and East Pai are 2 small Island in Yalong bay,  which are the best diving sites, takes around 20 minutes from Yalong bay beach. Since both of the 2 sites are not open for travelers yet, the water visibility is the best and the coral reef is the most beautiful. Western Pai is more beautiful. Eastern Pai Site is good for hard corals, and Western Pai is good for soft corals. Normally the divers will go around 15 meters deep.

Sanya - Trekking China's Southernmost Coastline - 6 days

Hainan - Trekking through forest and minority villages - 8 days

Hainan - Cycling around the Island - 12 days

For cyclists, Hainan is undoubtedly a rare riding the Holy Land, the scenery of the sea breeze, sandy beaches, coconut palms, such as pictures, plus the line of the strength of moderate difficulty, more and more people towards this ends of the earth,feelings on a variety of round trip.

East line north from the sea, through Wenchang, Qionghai, Wanning, Lingshui to Sanya, a length of about 420 km along the way most of them in accordance with the coastline walk, concentrated coconut Rhine Spirit, a blend of Hainan, you letter humanities famous historical site. West line start from Haikou, go through Danzhou to Changjiang, Dongfang, Yacheng to Sanya. The total length of about 450 km. Day1~5, our guide with private vehicle will meet your  group at Guilin airport, where will transfer to Yangshuo. Visit the beautiful scenery round Yangshuo, and also going to see Longji rice terraces, then take flight to Sanya.

Part B:  Sanya, west coast of Hainan Island

Day5~9, our guide with private vehicle will meet your group at Sanya airport, where will transfer into your hotel on the sea side. Rest of the 4 days, you will going to enjoy the beach, and visit the local minority villages on the west coast of Hainan Island.

Our guide will show you the real life of local Hainan people.

You will meet our guide at Sanya airport or your hotel, first will drive you to visit Yazhou old town, then going to see some minority villages on the mountain, you could choose to stay one night at the local minority villages' family house, after that will drive to Changhua, from there trekking through a small desert area, evening will camping on the wild beach and a picnic meal for dinner.

Then next morning, trekking back to meet our vehicle, continue drive to 2000 years old town of Danzhou. There you will see some traditional and historical building and museum, from there you will get back to Sanya, to end this great journey.

Round Hainan Island 5days 

Our guide will show you the real life of local Hainan people.

You will meet our guide at Sanya airport or your hotel, first will drive you to visit Yazhou old town, then going to see some minority villages on the mountain, then drive to Jianfengling forest park, over night at the hotel there. Next morning, continue drive to Changhua pld town, afetr visit it continue going to 2000 years old town of Danzhou. There you will see some traditional and historical building and museum, from there you will go to Qiongzhong, and then Wuzhishan city, to trekking Wuzhishan ( five finger mountain ), then get back to Sanya, to end this great journey.

First few days you will enjoy the beach of Sanya, and can also make some sightseeing nearby Sanya.

In the 3rd day we will drive to west coast to visiting  some minority villages near, and have one night camping on the sea side or in the forest, visiting some old town like Changhua, Danzhou, then drive to Qiongzhong, after that, going to Wuzhishan city, visit the museum and Wuzhishan mountain. From there will drive to visit Nawan bay monkey Island in Lingshui, and the last visit Wuzhizhou Island. Last day drive back to sanya, send to airport, trip end.

Hainan Family Luxury Holiday - 7 days

Day01, our guide will meet your family at Sanya airport, transfer into your hotel on Yalong bay, (or Dadonghai bay, which have cheaper hotel) check in. A welcome dinner with Cantoners' sea food. 

Day02, easy day, you can have a Segway slide on the beach. 

Day03,  our guide will take you to have some easy sightseeing through Sanya city as Luhutou for city top view, Nanshan Guanyin Buddha(108 meter high), Yazhou ancient town, back hotel in the afternoon.

Birdwatching in Hainan Island Southern China

Hainan Island located almost the most southern area of China with rich tropical rain forest.

Hainan is not only a paradise for water fowl, and birds in the forest resources are extremely rich. Coastal wetlands along the river or enjoy a view of birds, to the concept of forest birds in the tropical rain forest is beautiful.

It can be said, in Hainan, birds flying everywhere among urban and rural areas, could be heard one hundred birds twitter. This season, can be about a few friends, with family, go bird watching. Haikou City, next to the mountain Mei Dongzhaigang wetlands, two Grey Goose and a group of ducks hidden in wetlands.

Normally it is best to visit Hainan from November if sunbathing is your cup of tea as the rainy season should be mostly over by then. From a birding perspective it seems best to visit between January and June.
