Day by day itinerary

Day01, arrive Lijiang airport, transfer to hotel.

Day02,  Lijiang to Tiger leaping gorge, take private transport to Qiaotou, 2 hours drive, start trek to high path of the gorge.

Day03,  easy trekking day go by water fall, then down to Tina's, check in your hotel room.

Day04,  take private transport to Baoshan stone town. drive to ferry, take boat cross Yangtze river, take private transport to Daju town, have lunch there, drive to Baoshan by nice view mountain road.

Day05,  have breakfast, view the old stone village, very picturesque, and will be a tough day of trekking.

Day06,  trekking to Fengke, path most goes down. Spectacular view on mountain rang and gorge. Dry arid area. Difficulty at the time because of the loose stones and gravel.

Day07,  start trek to Labo, path mostly goes down, sometimes very small paths with loose gravel, steep down, through nice villages, Moso and Pumi people, and will have to take boat cross second bend of Yangtze river, then trekking up to Labo.

Day08,  Lugu lake, day open. Relaxing day, afternoon going to visit some Moso people's family.

Day09,  Lugu lake, take transport going back to Lijiang. trip end.

Day10, Lijiang, easy day.  send to Lijiang airport, end of the trip.

This is one of our EcoTour China's most  popular trekking trip in Southwest China.

First part, Tiger leaping gorge as a preparation for the real trekking from Baoshan stone town to Labo village. On this trip, you will crossing by many minority villages as Naxi, Pumi, Moso, Yi and original Han with unbelievably view of Yangtse river vally.

Day01, Lijiang arrive.

Day02, Lijiang, easy day, explore old town and Baisha villages.

Day03, drive to Tiger leaping gorge, view the gorge, then go to Zhongdian.

Day04, Zhongdian, visit Songtsmlin and Dabaosi temples. Get used the high altitude. 

Day05, Zhongdian, drive to Shudu lake, meet horse guide, put luggage on packhorse, trekking by the lake side, camp.

Day06, trekking to Dijitang, picnic lunch break, then trekking to Niru, over night at Tibetan family.

Day07, morning, drive to Luoji town, meet horse guide, put luggage on packhorse, trekking, camp.

Day08, trekking to Zhuazi village, over night at Pumi minority people's family.

Day09, trekking to Sanjiangkou, take ferry, cross Yangtze, over night at Pumi people's family or camp.

Day10, trekking to Labo town, meet local vehicle, drive to Lige village on Lugu lake side, check in hotel. 

Day11, Lugu lake, have a good rest.

Day12, drive back to Lijiang, send to airport, trip end.

This great journey will start by Lijiang.

Stay a way from crowd, make yoursalf some  exercise in real nature. On this trekking, we will show you some of the most beautiful highland lakes, grassland, forest, river, minority villages and people, absolutely the best trekking itinerary from China Eco-tour in south-west China.

Day by day itinerary

Day01, arrive Lijiang airport, meet our local guide, and transfer to your hotel in a courtyard of old town Lijiang.

Day02, Lijiang, easy day, to get used the high elevation, explore  old town.

Day03, Lijiang, take private vehicle to Baisha.

Start trekking up hill to Wenhai lake, (from 2500 meter ~ 3200 meter) a beautiful trail in the forest (4hours), overnight at local family guest house.

(on this trekking, you could choose trek on foot or take horseback riding)

Day04, trekking a long way down hill to Xingming via Yi people's villages,  meet our vehicle, drive to Tiger leaping gorge, over night at the hotel in Qiaotou, have a hot shower.

Day05, after breakfast, start trekking to Naxi family and have a lunch there, after that trekking up hill to 28 bends, (nice view point) trekking down hill to Tea-horse guest house, nice hot shower.

Day06, after breakfast, trekking to Halfway Guest house, have a tea break there, after that trekking to Tina's guest house via water fall.

Have lunch there, and take vehicle to the new ferry, take boat cross Yangtze river, meet your vehicle, drive back to Lijiang via Jade dragon snow Mt.

Day07, according to the flight time, send to Lijiang airport, trip end.

Overview of this trip

Wenhai lake, 3200 meter high, on the foot of Jade dragon snow mountain, jest 20 km a way from Lijiang, when you there, you will feel the real highland. Some small villages around the lake, and living with Naxi and Yi minority people. In the family guest house, you will enjoy a nice home made local delicacies. At next morning, will trekking by Xuehua Yi people's villages, all the way through great view of Jade dragon snow mountain and the picturesque villages.

From Xingming, you will meet our vehicle, and transfer to Qiaotou, start the most famous Tiger leaping gorge trek.

Overview of this trip

The Great Nujiang Canyon (upper Salween) is a "longitu-dinal" valley, lying parallel with the run of mountain ranges that give rise to the natural wonder of the Three Parallel Rivers. This is because the northeast edge of the Indian Plate collided with the Eurasian Plate, creating a series of large north-south splits in what is today's northwestern Yunnan and eastern Tibet. The Canyon starts from Cawarong at Zayul County in Tibet and stretches south for some 300 kilometers to reach Liuku, capital of Nuiiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province.

Eco-tour China arrange this trip from Kunming, Dali and or Lijiang to Nujiang canyon area like trekking,  horseback riding and camping with vehicle and English speaking guide. We normally will using packhorse with horse guide as our mountain trekking secure arrangement, to guarantee everyone can make this trekking without any problem.
